| Course Description |
| In this short 3-week session we will review the basics of glaze application to bisque ware while troubleshooting glaze flaws and application techniques. We will focus on stain and glaze utilized in different methods for various effects: resist techniques, spraying, dipping, pouring, brushing, stenciling. The goal of the class will be to build confidence in glazing while increasing the rate of firing success. |

| Jenny Dowd grew up in Kansas where she attended Kansas State University to pursue a BFA in ceramics. She later attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a MFA in ceramics and fibers. Currently Jenny is the Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator at the Art Association. She also teaches beginning and intermediate ceramics classes. www.jennydowd.com |
