| Course Description |
| Have some time while the kids are at school?
Experience throwing on the potters wheel in our laid back studio by learning to make cups, mugs, bowls and plates.
You will learn the do’s and don’ts of handling clay, firing, glazing and various decoration techniques. Students will
leave the class with the skills to proceed to an intermediate level class or workshop. 25 pounds of clay included.

| Jenny Dowd grew up in Kansas where she attended Kansas State University to pursue a BFA in ceramics. She later attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a MFA in ceramics and fibers. Currently Jenny is the Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator at the Art Association. She also teaches beginning and intermediate ceramics classes. www.jennydowd.com |
