Course Description
In this workshop students will learn various techniques of stretching and manipulating the thrown form into the likeness of a human figure. In addition, attention will be given to techniques that are specifically used for easily throwing large vessels and altering them into sculptural forms such as gigantic heads. This workshop will appeal to the potter interested in pushing form beyond tradition as well as the sculptor interested in utilizing the wheel. Throwing experience is helpful.
