Travel throughout the tapestry of Jackson, contemplate nature, observe the tourists…then translate your experiences into meaningful “stories and language,” with creative writer, Nicole Burdock. Find new ways to communicate using these perceptions. At the Get creative behind the lens of a digital camera as you explore Jackson on assignment! Students will gather and edit their photographs during the first couple days, then join Joe and Dondi to experiment and explore various ways of creating 3D imagery. The students will have the opportunity to take photos of props brought in by the instructor, to shoot a photo in 3D using a dual camera system and to explore 3D imagery using Photoshop. Using the images they have created, the students will get a chance to compliment their image with prose inspired from their photographs. Bring your own digital camera (recommended) or let us loan you one. All supplies included. Check out some of Thomas' work at www.thomasmacker.com
