| Course Description |
| Kids will design, explore, play, decorate, build and perform their own percussion instruments made from everyday and found objects in this one of a kind, 4 day camp. Music educator Justin Smith will join Art Association staff, pairing his expertise in music, performance and percussion with art making for a bashing fun time! Justin has been an active musician and educator in Jackson for over 16 years. He has fronted bands such as Mandatory Air, One Ton Pig, Bootleg Flyer and Joe’s Garage open stage. He has 10 years of experience teaching music to both children and adults, including previous “Art of U.M.” camps, the “JHME Mountain Bluegrass Camp for Kids” and, ‘Let’s Jam’ adult classes through CWC. Students who choose to participate can take their newly found talents to the stage at the Art Association’s Art Fair Jackson Hole performance on Friday, August 20!
