Once again, join art teacher extraordinaire, Greg Houda, in painting with watercolor and drawing with pencil “in the field.” He will discuss and demonstrate the elements of light, shadow, line and color as they appear in the landscape. In addition to painting and drawing, students will engage in creating land art using natural found materials similar to environmental artist, Andy Goldsworthy. This class is taught entirely outdoors so be sure to bring a backpack with lunch, bug repellent, sunscreen, a jacket, water bottle and sun hat.
