| Course Description |
| Look at the world differently, notice patterns you didn’t see before and beauty in everyday objects with a fresh perspective. Learn how to take better pictures considering composition, working with close-ups, lighting, and special effects to communicate messages in pictures. Bring your cameras the first day, if you don’t have one we can provide you one. |

| Thomas Macker received his MFA from CalArts in Photography and Media. He recently transplanted from Los Angeles, CA where he was working as an artist, curator, editorial photographer, and video journalist/filmmaker. As an artist/curator he has exhibited his work in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and abroad. For WhyTuesday.org, he wrote, shot, directed, and edited for the organization’s website video blog, which was distributed internationally through various web and broadcast outlets including L.A. Observed, The Huffington Post, Rocketboom, LAist, National Journal, Anderson Cooper 360: CNN, Current Issues: Current T.V., and Day to Day: NPR. |
