| Course Description |
In this hands-on studio class, students will develop and refine a variety of functional ceramic ware and creative clay sculpture using hand-building and throwing techniques. The session will start with a focus in hand-building working towards skills used when throwing on the wheel. All finished pieces will be painted with glaze or acrylic paint.

En esta clase, los estudiantes desarrollaran y refinaran una variedad de
ceramica funcional y escultura creativa con dos tecnicas; construye con
barro en tus manos y construye sobre la rueda. Esta clase comienza
enfocandose construyendo con barro en tus manos, para seguir con mas
habilidades construyendo con barro sobre la rueda. Todas las piezas seran
terminadas con barniz o pintura acrilica. |

| Tasha Cronk has lived in Jackson for over 10 years, and has worked with children in the community, including teaching preschool and for the Art Association's Outreach Education, for most of that time. She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and has taken many continuing education classes in art and child education. She has taught kids art classes for the Art Association since 2002. |
