Come get your hands dirty! Explore a variety of hand building techniques using kiln-fired clay in this hands-on studio class. This highly tactile medium allows for endless creativity through playful exploration, engaging students in inventive art making using pinch, coil, slab-building and extruded clay techniques. Finished pieces will be fired and painted with glaze or
acrylic paint. |

| Tasha Cronk has lived in Jackson for over 10 years, and has worked with children in the community, including teaching preschool and for the Art Association's Outreach Education, for most of that time. She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and has taken many continuing education classes in art and child education. She has taught kids art classes for the Art Association since 2002. |
