AFTER SCHOOL ART WORKSHOPS

Course Description

Classes are specifically tailored to expose students to a broad array of art curriculum emphasizing the elements of art and principles of design.

Session II: Once Upon a Time...
Storytelling and art come together in this exciting class celebrating children’s story books! Bring your own stories to life in 2D and 3D form when you make mini books, puppets and creative “back-drops” in collaboration with some of the local artists from the exhibit “ 6 Stories,” in the Art Association’s ArtSpace Gallery.

Instructor
Tasha Cronk has lived in Jackson for over 10 years, and has worked with children in the community, including teaching preschool and for the Art Association's Outreach Education, for most of that time. She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and has taken many continuing education classes in art and child education. She has taught kids art classes for the Art Association since 2002.
