| Course Description |
| Students will experience the art of creative collaboration in making a short film. With guests from TGR, classes will focus on editing and lighting, especially in challenging winter conditions. Classes will move between the field and the studio to make the best of the winter conditions. |
| Instructor |
| Thomas Macker received his MFA from CalArts in Photography and Media. He recently transplanted from Los Angeles, CA where he was working as an artist, curator, editorial photographer, and video journalist/filmmaker. As an artist/curator he has exhibited his work in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and abroad. For WhyTuesday.org, he wrote, shot, directed, and edited for the organization’s website video blog, which was distributed internationally through various web and broadcast outlets including L.A. Observed, The Huffington Post, Rocketboom, LAist, National Journal, Anderson Cooper 360: CNN, Current Issues: Current T.V., and Day to Day: NPR. |
