Nuno Felted Scarves

Krista Gorrell

Course Description

Take your felt making to a new level with nuno felting. Nuno felting is the combination of silk fabric and wool roving, wet felted together (not knitted; traditional felt making technique) to form a single, solid piece full of interesting and crazy texture.  This class will cover the basics of wet felting on Friday night, then Sat. we will spend the day applying what we have learned to complete a finished scarf, which you will leave with and the knowledge to repeat the process again. Nuno felted scarves make great handmade holiday gifts- it's never too early to start thinking about the holidays!! Supplies are included in class tuition.
