Basic Felt Making |
Krista Gorrell |
| Course Description |
| Come in from the cold for a weekend of hot and soapy felt making! In this 1 1/2 day class we will learn the basics of wet felting, not the knit-and-shrink technique. This is the real deal! On Friday night we will learn the basics and make some samples to prepare for the final project. On Saturday, we will create a pair of mittens or gauntlets for you to take home at the end of class. Topics covered will be the chemical components of wet felting, shrinkage, experimenting with color combining, resist technique and a touch on needle felting for embellishment. |
