| Course Description |
| This class is designed to provide you with the fundamentals necessary to pursue fused glass. In the end, you will make at least three fused and slumped plates. This class will begin with exercises in glass cutting, including straight and curved cuts. Once we have an understanding of the basics we will put our new skills to work designing, cutting and composing the parts necessary to make fused and slumped plates. Discussions and demonstrations will cover the basics of kilnforming, from types of glass and mold materials to kilns and firing schedules. No prerequisites, price of class includes materials. |
