| Course Description |
This class is an introduction to basic concepts in sculpture
and functional design in the metalworking processes. Learn how to saw, solder, polish and complete some simple silver projects. Bring sketches of simple designs. Lora will demonstrate simple rings, setting stones, marriage of metals, and patterns for cuffs and/or earrings. There will be an emphasis on individual instruction. For those who already have some metalworking experience this class will also offer an opportunity to focus on more advanced techniques and a chance to refine your skills. Additional materials fees will be charged for this class based on individual usage. |
