Saturday - Hand Forging: Learn how to hammer metal for different effects. Students will learn anticlastic-raising and fold forming. Beginning students will make a basic hammered cuff and ring, while advanced students will set a stone after making the bracelet and ring. More projects can be done after learning the technique. Copper and brass sheet included with tuition. Semi-precious stones and sterling silver can be purchased if desired.
Sunday - Finishing: Learn how to put a mirror finish on your jewelry pieces. Students may use the pieces from the previous day and also bring in other
jewelry to polish.
