THE ART OF BIRDING |
Andrew Angstrom |
| Course Description |
| Enhance your artistic skills and understanding of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Identify birds of Jackson Hole by exploring avian anatomy and feather patterns through use of pen and ink drawing. Six classes will be devoted to drawing light and shadow to create simple, black and white images. Students will learn the skill of bird identification through the art of observation and spend two, day-long field trips developing their skills outdoors. This class is open to all levels of experience and will focus on the joy of creating art rather than the end result. |
