| Course Description |
| Idaho on the west side of the Tetons is a land of long light and sleepy towns. Unlike Jackson Hole, which is enclosed and dominated by the mountains, the Idaho side of the Tetons is open, filled with farms growing potatoes and barley, and towns with streets wide enough to turn a buggy around. The photographic challenges and opportunities are subtle and speak of an agrarian past and present. This course will explore the long sweet light and the fading farm towns and culture. |

| Jon Stuart's photographs focus on the modern West. He began teaching as an assistant for Ansel Adams Yosemite Workshops. Since the 1970's he has lead photography workshops for the Teton Science School, the Snake River Institute, Central Wyoming College and the Art Association of Jackson Hole. His work has been exhibited at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the University of Wyoming Art Museum, the Nicolaysen Musem, the Wyoming State Museum, and the Wyoming Arts Council Gallery. He is represented by the Oswald Gallery in Jackson Hole. |
