| Course Description |
| Through hands-on workshops and lectures, students will learn design, development, implementation, testing and updating of effective web interfaces based on principles of graphic design, interactivity and usability. CSS, navigation systems, visual hierarchy, basic animations, image preparation, and file transferring protocols are among topics covered. Emphasis is placed on acquiring Web design proficiency through appropriate use of software and image editing tools. Imageformatting possibilities are investigated, along with aesthetic/functional aspects of site navigation, design, sequence and consistency. Students will obtain skills that help with e-marketing strategies and have proven successful in the marketplace. One only needs a desire to learn, basic computer familiarity and a dose of creativity. |
