THE LONG SIDE OF THE TETONS

Jon Stuart

Course Description

Idaho on the west side of the Tetons is a land of long light and sleepy towns. Unlike Jackson Hole, which is enclosed and dominated by the mountains, the Idaho side of the Tetons is open, filled with farms growing potatoes and barley, and towns with streets wide enough to turn a buggy around. The photographic challenges and opportunities are subtle and speak of an agrarian past and present. This course will explore the long sweet light and the fading farm towns and culture.   Meet  at the Center for the Arts Glenwood parking lot.
