| Course Description |
| In this class, students will learn the process of how to critique as well as be able to receive feedback on their own projects. Each week there will be a different type of photographer (sports, event, portrait, commercial & landscape) who will talk about their own work and students will learn the various methods for critiquing. |

Jon Stuart's photographs focus on the modern West. He began teaching as an assistant for Ansel Adams Yosemite Workshops. Since the 1970's he has lead photography workshops for the Teton Science School, the Snake River Institute, Central Wyoming College and the Art Association of Jackson Hole. His work has been exhibited at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the University of Wyoming Art Museum, the Nicolaysen Musem, the Wyoming State Museum, and the Wyoming Arts Council Gallery. He is represented by the Oswald Gallery in Jackson Hole.
Rebecca Stern is a landscape photographer and an avid outdoors enthusiast currently residing in Jackson, Wyoming. Her work strives to show the interactions between man and the land and highlights the symbiotic connections. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in 2003 with a major in history, a minor in photography and a pre-med concentration. Although medicine was very appealing, her artistic inclination and true passion rested with photography. She was awarded a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography as the Excelsus Laureate at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta in 2008. Her company, RS Photography, started in 2005 offers fine art, website design and consultation.
Her work has been presented at multiple juried shows around the country, including those at the Bridge Art Fair in Miami, the Rayko Center for Photography in San Francisco and at the Housatonic Museum of Art in Connecticut. Her photographs are in the permanent collections at the Columbia University Dialysis Center in New York City, Pierson Land Works in Jackson, Wyoming, and Cava in New Canaan, Connecticut, among others. |
