Jackson Rising III

Opening Reception | Friday, September 5 | 5:30 - 7:30PM
During the Palates & Palettes Gallery Walk

Exhibition | September 5 - October 10, 2014
Art Association Gallery

Opening Thursday July 3rd, 2014 the Art Association will host Jackson Rising III, a group show featuring Aaron Wallis, Wade Dunstan, Elaina Oliver, Benjamin Carlson, Andrew Ciulla, Kyle Craighead Haynam, Alison Brush, & Grace Davis

Each year Jackson Rising shows local artists nominated by the contributing artists from the previous year. From the nomination process, over time the index of local artists grows organically. Since the exhibition shows working “rising” artists the group show outcome is very dynamic and lively with fresh work. Once the artists are nominated, Gallery Director, Thomas Macker visits the studios of the artists to coordinate a cohesive group exhibition.

As Part of the Palates & Palettes Gallery Walk we will be collaborating with The Rose for food.
